The Hinchinbrook side led 12-0 at half-time and dominated the second period, scoring a hat-full of tries to secure a comfortable win that keeps them in the top four – with an opportunity to make the play-offs.

Crushers were solid in defence and red-hot in attack, with Ryan Wyles looking sharp on the ball.

Our under-12s kept their unbeaten run going with a 24-10 win.

Having drawn once and won all their other games, the side will be confident going into the final three games of the season.

A talented under-9s were one try down before Benny Mingon scored to equalise in a game Norths eventually won 4-1.

The under-10s had to call on Riley Swarbrick and Kadin Astorquia to step-up a level to have enough players for their game against a strong Burdekin.

Lamech Page, Brady Venables and Jackson Hodge scored for Crushers in a game they lost 11-3 with Burdekin’s Millie-J Lino-Gofton being named player-of-the-match.
