Sirens swim for sick kids

A local group of ten frontline workers are swimming their way to help sick kids this February.

The Swim Sirens, a team of Hinchinbrook nurses, paramediecs and police officers, have banded together to raise money for The Starlight Foundation’s Super Swim by swimming 75km during the month of February. With over 30km already swum and $5000 raised, the team is calling on locals and businesses for their support.

Donations can be made through their team link at www.superswim.org.au/swim-sirens in an effort to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

The Starlight Foundation helps sick kids by providing them with much needed positive distraction from the isolation and stress of treatment.
