Crushers under-10s after a pulsating 6-5 win over Western Lions.
FOUR tries from Kayden Crisafulli helped Crushers under-10s to a 6-5 victory over Western Lions at the Artie Gofton Oval in Ingham.
Milly Gofton and Liam Swarbrick scored the other points for Herbert River in a pulsating match – the first since the Covid-enforced break for local rugby league.
Solid defending from Me’Shak and Lamech Page as well as Adrian O’Neill helped Ingham secure a hard-fought win.
Our under-12s dominated their fixture against the Lions, winning 8-3 while Ingham’s under-9s lost 7-3 against the same opposition.
Crushers under-15s were within one try of salvaging a draw against last season’s title winners but their late push for an equaliser left space for United Suburbs to score a final try to win the match 28-16.
