SES Week 2021

SES Week 2021 runs from Saturday 9 October to Sunday 17 October 2021 and is a state wide celebration to highlight the service SES volunteers provide to Queensland communities.

‘On Saturday 9 October 2021, Gio Tantalo and Trevor Hulbert were presented with an award recognising their contribution and dedication to the Lower Herbert community. Well done!’ said Mayor Jayo.

‘SES Week marks an important event in the calendars of our staff and volunteers. I honour the hard work and outstanding efforts of the staff and volunteers across our region who form the State Emergency Service (SES)’

Regional events are being held around the state this weekend to celebrate SES Week awards, recognising SES volunteers and units who have gone above and beyond in supporting the communities of Queensland. For more information on what is happening in your region, contact your Regional Office.
