INGHAM’S Walk-in COVID-19 Testing Clinic will relocate to TYTO from today until Friday 14 January.
Queensland Health has extended its testing capacity in the region as the number of positive cases in the state continues to surge, with close to 11,000 recorded in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 44 positive cases in the Hinchinbrook Shire.
Residents are reminded to only attend the clinic for testing in accordance with Queensland Health Guidelines – if you are a close contact or experiencing respiratory symptoms.
Those attending the clinic are urged to park on Macrossan Avenue to avoid walking through the library/gallery area and are asked to not park on McIlwraith Street or Tully Street.
Temporary gazebos have been set up in the queuing area.

8.00 am – 12.00 pm Saturday 8 January 2022;
8.00 am – 12.00 pm Sunday 9 January 2022;
9.00 am – 11.00 am Monday 10 January 2022;
9.00 am – 11.00 am Tuesday 11 January 2022;
9.00 am – 11.00 am Thursday 13 January 2022;
9.00 am – 11.00am Friday 14 January 2022.
Testing will not occur on Wednesday as the clinic will become a vaccination hub for children aged 5 to 11 years old, commencing at 10.30 am.
