Changes To COVID-19 Testing Clinic

Please be advised that the Drive Through COVID-19 Testing Clinic has ceased operations until further notice.

Council will be opening the Shire Hall (above Council’s Main Office located at 25 Lannercost Street Ingham) as a Walk-in COVID-19 Testing Clinic at 9.00am tomorrow, Thursday 6 January 2022. This will enable Queensland Health to increase the number tests being conducted.

There are currently long wait times in testing clinics around the State, and Council appreciates residents being patient. Pack a hat and water, and please be assured that staff are working as quickly as they can. Mistreatment of the staff is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

Please follow the attached map for directions. Residents are urged to line up down Townsville Road. Do not park in the four parking bays located on Townsville Road. These bays are reserved for mobility impaired persons. Mobility impaired persons are encouraged to use the lift. Please see red arrows located on the map for access.

Do not present to the Ingham Hospital’s Emergency Department or Ingham Showgrounds Pavilion until further advised.

Residents are reminded to only attend if you require testing in accordance with Queensland Health’s Guidelines. For further information regarding the testing guidelines please see image below.

Available clinics:
▪ 9.00am – 12.00pm Thursday 6 January 2022; and
