Around 196,000 tonnes of cane were crushed for the week ending November 7, 2020. This brings the season to date total for the district to just under 3.7 million tonnes.
The CCS increased by almost half a unit, taking the weekly average to 14.19.
Based on the expected final crop of 4.24 million tonnes, and with no further rain disruptions along with normal factory operations, harvesting is currently expected to continue until Saturday 28 November.
Growers are once again urged to compare the physical areas remaining for harvest with what is listed in their field book on the GrowerWeb. Any variations should be reported to Wilmar Sugar on 4776 4390.
Victoria’s A-side mill will have a 12 hour cleaning intermission on Thursday 12 November.
