2022 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards – Now Open

The Young Achiever Awards began in 2016, with the purpose of acknowledging, encouraging and most importantly promoting the positive achievements of all young people.

The awards aim to recognise the leadership, dedication, and pursuit of excellence amongst young people throughout Queensland.

Nominations for the 2022 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards are now open and the search has begun for incredible young people up to and including 29 years of age from Queensland.

‘The community is encouraged to complete the online form to nominate an inspirational young achiever today’ said Mayor Jayo.

We need to give thanks, and now you can by nominating them into one of these categories:

  • Danmark Innovation Award;
  • Qoin Small Business Achiever Award;
  • Englander Davis Online Achievement Award;
  • Kennelly Constructions Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award;
  • First National Real Estate Leadership Award;
  • Leveraged Solutions Entrepreneurship Award;
  • The University of Queensland Create Change Award;
  • Soroptimist Women Empowering Others Award; and
  • Bendigo Bank Community Volunteer Award.

One of the category winners will also be named the 2022 Queensland Young Achiever of the Year.

Great prizes are up for grabs, plus every person nominated receives a Certificate of Achievement.
